Robson St.from our hotel room is the busiest street in all the city. Where the 'to be seen' hang out. a couple of old guys

This panorama is looking west towards the Strait of Georgia.  The two photos also go together.  The ships are waiting for their turn at a docking point.

The Crab has become the symbol of the city, and this is a metal sculpture in front of the city museum.

This is another panorama across False Creek towards the peninsula that contains what is known as City Center.  They like to say they are raising themselves up, and that appears to be so with all the high rises.

one of the bridges across False Creek. I thought the deco was interesting. A close up of the deco on the bridge. Reminds me of the bridge in Florince, Italy.

From the bridge above, this is photo below is another looking at City Center, across False Creek.  The Creek ends to the left into the bay that is in the first & second panorama  photos above.   This is some of the older high rises, and there is not much more room to build.

Below:   Taken from Canada Place, where the cruise ships dock, looking toward North Vancouver on the right, with Grouse Mountain in the middle.  The trees to the center left is Stanley Park the largest municipal park in Canada.  The populated area just above the trees of Stanley park is West Vancouver.
